Rehabilitation Information
On January 24, 2014, the Oklahoma District Court entered an Order Placing Insurer Into Receivership and Rehabilitation, Appointing Receiver, and for Permanent Injunction. This Order provides the Insurance Commissioner the opportunity to implement critical actions in an effort to improve the profitability of the company. Union Mutual Insurance Company (UMIC) will continue to write new business and renew policies for the benefit of its agents and policyholders while taking additional actions to improve operating controls and expenses.
