IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Oklahoma County District Court approved the Order of Liquidation with a Finding of Insolvency on March 8, 2024.

Pursuant to the Order and in accordance with Title 36 OKLA STAT §2007, all policies of insurance with Go Insurance Company were terminated and coverage under said policies were cancelled effective no later than Monday, April, 8, 2024, at 12:01 AM. A sample cancellation notice may be downloaded below.

For the protection of policyholders, the Order of Liquidation activated the State Guaranty Funds in the states where Go was licensed to do business.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Go Insurance Policyholders:

On March 8, 2024, the court ordered Go Insurance Company to be liquidated.

According to the order, all policies were terminated and coverage under these policies was cancelled no later than April 8, 2024 at 12:01 AM.

You may use the same methods of communicating with Go support to request a Letter of Experience.

If we determine a refund is due, the Guaranty Association will be provided the information to issue premium refunds. This process may take several weeks. If you haven’t heard from the Guaranty Association, you may periodically reach out to the receivership office for status updates.

New claims should be reported to Go in the same manner as before liquidation. After the loss is reported, we will transfer your claim to the Guaranty Association, and they will reach out if any additional information is needed.

You will be receiving an official letter with a Notice of Deadline to File Claims against the receivership estate. If your claim has not been paid before the deadline in the Notice, we suggest you follow the directions in the Notice.

Per Texas Statute, all proceedings against Go Insurance, its policyholders or the Guaranty Association is stayed for 180 days.

For Claimants:

 The Guaranty Association will be taking over the claims handling process. If additional information is needed to process your claim, the Guaranty Association will contact you. We are in the process of sending all claim files to the Guaranty Association.

IMPORTANT: If you have coverage from another insurance carrier, per Guaranty Association statute, you will be required to exhaust all other coverages before requesting coverage from the Guaranty Association.

Your coverage will not change. However, the Guaranty Association has different caps and exclusions. Once the Guaranty Association has your claim, they will be able to provide that information.

Generally, it takes at least 2 weeks for a file to be transferred to the Guaranty Association. If you don’t hear from the Guaranty Association in the next 2 weeks, you may reach out to Go support for a status update.

Once the Guaranty Association has your file, you will be able to get that information directly from them. Once a claim file is received, the Guaranty Association will review the claim.

Yes. However, per Texas Statute, all proceedings against Go Insurance, its policyholders or the Guaranty Association are stayed for 180 days.

Subrogation claims will be handled through the court-approved proof of claim process.

If your information is available in Go’s records, you will be receiving an official letter with a Notice of Deadline to File Claims against the receivership estate.
